Last Week of Summer 2013

Oh the last week of summer!  Always so much fun, but always so sad too.  We tried to pack a ton of fun into the couple of days before school started and I would say we were pretty successful.  Never enough time though!

Joshua loves science and doing science experiments so we were able to accomplish a couple one day

He has been asking for homemade donuts since moving out of my parents house.  I finally caved as a final summer fun activity and I think by the sugar on their face it was well received:)

Oh The Kissing Hand.   Haven't read it?  Well, you need to!  I always read it to my students on the first day of school and was so excited when I found the idea on Pinterest to make a Kissing Hand cookie.  Our final night before school started HAD to include a read in and treat!

Our future kindergartner.  Fast asleep.  Yep, he is THAT cute when he sleeps!

Kindergarten meet and greet up at school with some of the kids buddies

Jumping Jax Indoor Inflatable Play Zone also topped his list of to dos this week

And a trip to the zoo.  Our weather has been A-MA-ZING this summer so a trip to the zoo was so fun!  A perfect summer day!

The lions were J's favorite animal.  Sadie said the bears or seals.  Mommy always loves the meerkats and seals.  But nothing tops a ride on the train!

Dropping off school supplies the week before school starts!

Joshua and his super sweet kindergarten teacher, Miss McDonnell

He was so excited that one of his baseball buddies is in his class!  I told them that I would be putting this adorable picture in their 8th Grade video some day:)
