The last few Labor Days we have been lucky enough to go up to Sumner, Iowa to see Grandma Jane and have a family reunion. It is always so fun seeing people we never get to see and it is even more fun watching the kids grow and play together! Jane is one of the sweetest, kindest people we know and is an amazing host. Good times with great people!

Grandma Katy has been dying to fly kites with the kids and they have been so excited to try it! Unfortunately the wind did not want to cooperate, but it was a valiant effort!
Aunt Krista's family became the MVP of the trip because the were kind enough to share their golf cart with us to play with during the picnic. The kids were in bliss!
The city park is built by train tracks. Yep! Do I need to say more about how much it hit home with one particular five year old?
