The last few days of our Orlando trip, Daddy had to work his trade show so we were able to steal him for a few hours each day.

Enjoying the resort pool. We had the whole thing almost to ourselves and it was so much fun!! A lazy river, play area (shown below) for the kids, and a big pool.
The cutest quote of the day was Joshua telling his dad how great the pool was and that they even come around and bring you food and drinks for free like nachos and bottled water. Love how kids process things. He didn't understand the concept of an outside waitstaff that we DID have to pay.
The next day I decided to take the kids to the beach while Art was away. I LOVE the ocean. So even if it was a bit of a hike to get to Clearwater Beach, it was a hike worth taking! Our drive started out smooth. About an hour into it, I commented that it smelled like muffins in the car. Joshua agreed. Then Sadie announced that it wasn't muffins and that she had actually thrown up. And she had. I have NO idea how she did it silently, but she did. And it smelled like muffins. Guess there were worse things. I quickly pulled over to the side of the road cleaned up the damage in the rental car and car seat. Stripped the baby and threw a tshirt on her. And reassessed. We were half way there. She hadn't complained a bit before announcing she had thrown up. I decided to push on in hopes that she had my stomach for car sickness. She passed out right away and was a new girl when we got to the beach. She ate and swam her little heart out!
Beach babies! They love the ocean as much as their parents!

Joshua LOVES the water. He is such a fish! I loved seeing him play in the waves and collect sea shells. He has such an imagination and it was adorable to hear what sort of trouble he was getting into in his imaginary world.
Our last night we took the kids to the Gaylord Palms to see real Florida alligators. It is a really neat and swanky hotel. Only a couple of gators were swimming but it still managed to keep our attention for some time. They had baby alligators in another section that we were able to see one sneak up on a fish and eat it. Joshua loved the carnage and had a tough time leaving because he was so patiently waiting for it to happen again!
After a final night out at Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney, we said goodbye to Florida. We felt so blessed to have a Daddy who works as hard as he does to allow us to do such fun things. We hate it when he travels, but we all remind ourselves that it also allows us some pretty neat opportunities that we wouldn't have otherwise been able to do. Love you, Daddy! And when can we go back????:)
