Old Souls and Alter Egos

Who doesn't love brunch?!  And a nice little breakfast drink!  Our family fav is Le Peep, a tradition since I was a kid while growing up in Boulder, CO.  We were so excited when they came to Kansas City years ago.

Someone was pretty excited when his Halloween costume arrived!  It always makes me a bit sad to see one phase end in childhood.  Joshua loved Thomas for so long (although he still loves trains, he says that he's too big for it now), and he was OBSESSED with Superman thanks to his dad for almost a year, onto Batman....a shorter phase, and now he loves anything Star Wars or The Chronicles of Narnia.  We are slowly reading the series and he LOVES it.  I have to admit, I love snuggling him and reading it too:).

While at the mall, Miss Thing went CRAZY when she saw her favorite color in a hat AND it had a matching scarf like mommies wear at Nordstroms.  She couldn't stop looking at herself in the mirror!  Cute, but we need to work on her love of mirrors.  How is that inborn???

Looking for a way to kill a couple of hours with your daughter?  Take her to the American Girl store!  We ventured for the first time earlier this Fall and before you knew it, TWO HOURS had disappeared.  Without a PENNY spent!!  Which is a good day to me too then!
