Our family loves celebrating Halloween. For years we had a Halloween party with our friends where everyone dressed up. Even without the kids. It is a time that adults get to act like kids! Disney does a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party during October in which the park closes down for only Halloween goers! Where your costume, or don't if your name is Art and you are too practical with packing your suitcase and don't feel like packing one, and celebrate with the characters! Batman, Ariel, and Cruella deVille were in full effect! Along with the dad from Kansas.
Little Mermaid was sporting a WHOLE LOTTA tutu! We loved seeing everyone oooh and ahhh over her cuteness!
I didn't think the fireworks could be outdone from the night before, but they were! Filled with Disney villains, ghosts, and more!
On a sidenote, our friends let us borrow their sit and stand. It was Ah-Ma-Zing to have around with too tuckered kids! Joshua's all smiles here though ready for the fireworks!
Prior to the fireworks there was a parade. It started with the headless horseman riding through the streets...super creepy and so fun! Joshua had the migraine of his life during the parade. He didn't watch much. We will not include the behavior that he chose to exhibit, but I will say that none of spoke for a while...sigh...kids...
HIGHLY recommend the Not So Scary Halloween Party! We can't wait to do it again!
The next day was Epcot in the morning! Everyone was well rested as we could be and in much better spirits than the night before. Not to mention there was a lot of hype about seeing Mickey and Minnie that day!
Joshua LOVED all of the science stuff! Especially since he is going to be a scientist...along side his doctor, fire fighter, train conductor, astronaut and more plans
Sadie was petrified of the BOY characters. Yes, she is anti-men right now. Mommy had to hold her in the pics.
But everyone loves Minnie!
Riding the train around Magic Kingdom
Seriously, are they not the sweetest brother and sister ever?!
While the boys rode Thunder Mountain a few more times, Sadie decided to end the day by freshening up a bit:). Caught her in my purse.
To some up our Disney experience, we asked everyone to share their "High" of the trip so far. Joshua, one who is always so well worded (and wise beyond his years) said, "My high is my mom and dad taking me on this fantastic journey with all that I've learned and all that I've seen." Yes, he did actually say it. And yes, Art and I couldn't stop laughing at his wording. So adorable!
