I LOVE EASTER!! I love everything that it brings. New life. Fresh starts. Flowers and trees are coming back to life. And I love what Easter means for our faith. It is by far my favorite holiday.
Another thing I love about Easter is our tradition of family pictures on the Plaza! My mom's family has been doing this since before I was born and it is so much fun to look at how the family has grown and changed over the years. So imagine how excited I was when I discovered that Picassa now has a "1960's picture" app for our pics this year! The look of old photos is so cool. They make each picture feel like a story. Such nostalgia.
And I love how the 1960's look matched our outfits! Yes, I coordinate family outfits. Call me a dork. I don't care! I had been eyeing the Janie and Jack "Parisian Chic" line since it came out late last summer. It was so stinking cute! Of course I will never buy Janie and Jack prices though (actually, rarely if ever buy anything full price which I pride myself on). So hello Ebay!! After carefully watching for months, I scored Sadie's dress and Joshua's suit! Score! They looked perfect!
Now Sunday on the Plaza was as humid as a summer day in Kansas' August...Holy Moly. Misery. Poor Sadie checked out after a couple of minutes poor kid. But regardless, pics turned out nice to add to our album! Yea!
Happy Holy Week!
