A Very Merry Morning

Everyone needs something to look forward to. Dads have their football. Moms have shopping.....and MOPS! I seriously count down until Monday morning arrives so I can get a booster shot on how to improve as a Mama, wife, friend, and daughter of God. Every girl I talk to who is involved with a MOPS group feels the same. I was blessed to be connected with a group from my girlfriend Taasha who attends church at Westside Famly Church. This place is amazing. I won't mention it is one of the few times each month that moms get a warm breakfast without having to serve kiddos firs (Yum!), but I truly have grown so much in my faith and relationships

So anyway, on with the post and enough of my selling you on a membership, although, I'm serious when I say you won't regret it! Westside does a little program called "A Very Merry Morning" each Christmas and I have never seen such a well organized kids event! The volunteers work so hard to make the Christmas season meaningful and help kids to get past the fact that Santa sometimes can overshadow it. Joshua loves the activities, art projects, and the manger petting stable. So cute!
Channeling the Holy Family

Bowling a Strike for Jesus!! I know...super cheesy, but the kids love it!
Sadie even tried to give it a shot:)

Spreading the "Good News" that Jesus was born! I kid friendly post office! Joshua loved mailing the word and Sadie.....

Sadie preferred a one on one phone call to get the message out.
Learning some carpenter skills in the workshop area. Such a stud!

Searching for the Christ child in the manger
Looking for more clues....

Painting Christmas tree ornaments. Joshua's turned out much thicker than last year due to all of the glitter paint he chose. Sadie was lucky to make contact with her ornaments a couple of times. Yea, crafty kids!
