It's been a rather odd December for weather. We have had a dusting of snow, but then also celebrated many warm days, even in the 60's! As a matter of fact, we are supposed to end the year with a bang in the mid-60s! I could get used to this! But I really do miss the snow. We have had a lot of fun outside regardless of the weather this December!
We decided to check out the Arboretum Luminary Walk in early December and it was so pretty! I had always wanted to do it but we have usually been in Dallas when they usually do it. The Arboretum is a beautiful nature area with hiking trails and gardens. They illuminate most of the walking trails with candle light and it accents the surrounding nature just beautifully! Christmas carolers and other instrumental entertainment can be found along the trail too. It ends with Santa, hot cocoa and cookies, and, to Art's joy, an Elvis impersonator;). Joshua was just as mesmerized as Daddy! They're crazy!!

It was so fun to play outside in the uncharacteristically warm temps! Sadie loved riding in Joshua's old car buggy and Joshua was able to catch up with his neighborhood friends. So good to get some fresh air!
He had to break out the vacuum to show everyone. Yes, he is still obsessed with them!
Mommy and Sadie love being outside!! It's good for the spirit!!
