Sweet Sadie is seven months old! Seven months old! Wow!! She is still as sweet as can be, and will reach for whovever enters the room to be held (already the social butterfly), however she is starting to develop a bit of diva personality. The girl lets you know what she wants and when she wants it. And pray that you are not in her way! Art didn't believe his angel could do this, until she pulled it on him the other day when he took a toy from her so she could eat. Well, she has not wanted for much in the last seven months being that I am okay with her glued to my side. We fully intend to pull the plug on this sense of entitlement as soon as we can, but she is just a baby....and so cute......but seriously.....
She LOVES to eat and has settled into her high chair quite nicely. She thinks that she is really a part of the dinner conversations now and it's super cute. Her first tooth is just barely through, and number two should be following soon. It is right at the tip of the gum line. So far she has been a realitively easy baby with the teething thing. Yea!!
Most importantly though, she is ready to crawl ANY DAY and it scares us half to death. She loves to put everything in her mouth and let me remind you that we do have a three year old who loves to have his things everywhere. Joshua gets a kick out of her rocking back on all fours and gearing up to go, but she never quite makes it off. Prayers for us that we finish RE-BABY proofing before that time comes!
Hmmmm. Other Sadie notes....sleeping through the night????Hahahaha.....no! I'm still a Vegas buffet at night.She loves giving Mommy kisses......She opens and clothes her hand to tell you that she wants something or someone......She squeels when Daddy lifts her into the air......Seeing her big brother jumping or run into a room as well as the dog running up the stairs is sure to also elicite uncontrollable laughter....Being outside is still a favorite thing, whether swinging on a baby swing or playing on a blanket....It's super hard to get her to smile for a camera, although she smiles constantly without one around....She is ALWAYS cold and has the chilliest little feet and hands taking after her Mama....
Reading books, organizing her toy container, playing with blocks, and working in the toy kitchen are her favorite indoor activities...
