Evening at the Park

We have a cute little park within walking distance of our house. The whole clan ventured there for a little fun in the evening sun the other night and I grabbed the camera to see if we could get some shots to celebrate Sadie's 3 month pictures. Art always rolls his eyes a bit when I grab the camera because I am a bit obsessed! I hope to save us some money long term though and not have to pay for professional shots:). My girl friend Vicki gave this to Sadie from her daughter's boutique in California and this little outfit was too cute not to be photographed! Thanks Vicki! The shirt says "play nice" in Mandarin Chinese. Cute! Fortunately Sadie was helpful as always and hammed it up for the camera. Big brother is going through a phase that he is not really into getting his picture taken so I know there aren't as many with him:(. Darn it!

I did manage to get a picture with his beloved park tornado siren. Anyone that knows Joshua he is CRAZY about tornado sirens (and trains)....think it's his OCD....each morning he wakes up and wants to know if it is the day the alarms are tested. It started out as a fear when he coincidently hit the grill with his trimmer and the sirens started. Really, what are the chances!!! Scared the loving day lights out of him, but he never hit the grill again with it!! He thinks he can control them now. The kid has the amazing ability while driving to find any siren within the distant horizon. It's really quite amazing. Be careful to ask him about them though because you will get your ear talked off!

Baby girl is doing great though! Had quite the week of discovery last week. She's rolling around now, laughing out loud when tickled, and enjoying the fact that she discovered her hands. Gotta love those cross eyed babies when they play with their hands. So cute! She also has started to hold a few things to play with them. Her favorites are a little taggie blankie (thanks Griebenow's!!) and a giraffe that our friends the Freitag's gave her.
