Easter fun! Although the day was cool, we sure had a beautiful holiday! We celebrated by playing with our new Easter gifts (a soccer goal and t-ball...wow can he knock them!! And no, these two toys were only allowed in the house on this special day, especially after seeing J's ability to make contact!). Mass at Holy Spirit, brunch at LePeeps, naps, and then off to Paca and Grandma Clare's for dinner. It cracked us up seeing Joshua join his first Thorne dinner since really learning to talk. It is, as some may say, organized chaos:), and hard to join in the conversation if you are soft spoken, but Joshua rolled with the best of them, talking loudly to anyone who would listen with such comments from across the table, "So hey Jerry, how's your cat?".

April Playdates! We enjoyed seeing friends, old and new! Sadie loved finally seeing some kids her own size:). Samuel, Allie, and Joshua helping Papa move bushes from the van to the yard.
Sadie hanging out with baby Peter Schwertner...Peter is 6 weeks younger
Two sleepy heads:). Madeline Heise and Sadie. Born one day apart! Future KSU roomies???
Little Man had his spring program at school...Mother's Day Out...this week. It was his first official school program so we were so excited since he loves to sing! His teacher's said at their dress rehearsal he was by far the loudest and was cracking them up with his singing throughout the day. Sure to be a performance. Unfortunately, they picked the start time as right after the kids' nap. Anyone that knows Joshua knows he is not a "wake up and go" guy from nap. Takes him a good twenty minutes to be right with the world. So we enjoyed the other kids singing and Joshua's stretches and yawns. At least he gave a smile at the end as you can see in the last shot!
