Everyone needs a break now and then, right? Well, in my opinion, mommies especially deserve it!! I was super excited this spring when after years of talk, the wives in our Iowa clan decided to make it happen! And the hubbies were more than supportive:). It came together all too easily and although not everyone was able to be there, it was the perfect kickoff to what we have decided will certainly not be our last vaca!
We were able to use our friend Lindsay's in-laws condo in Fort Myers. It was a beautiful community, awesome location, and the perfect combination of uninterrupted girl talk (thanks to no kiddos),pajamas, sunshine, ocean views, and a couple of drinks here and there of course:). No Real Housewife drama, just relaxing and catching up which was just what the doctor ordered during this busy time of our lives.
Major props to our hubbies who held down the forts at home and did it all with smiles and encouragement. Art was even sweet enough to keep laundry going while I was gone....seriously, how great is he?! I think I'm pretty lucky:).
