(Yes, this is an actual shirt she owns)
Sadie happens to be more of the natural clown in our family. She LOVES to make people laugh and loves to be silly. She has a gift for timing already and just raw silliness! Love that about her!
If you are a betting person, you can lay money that we are going to need frequent flyer miles for Sadie to the ER. No major accidents yet, but being that she thinks she is MUCH older than she is and wants to do everything big brother does AND she happens to excel with her gross motors (and fine motors for that matter) she manages to get into a lot of trouble. Her favorite trouble making things right now are climbing the OUTSIDE of the stairway (our pediatrician told us to put Vaseline on the railings, but she forgot that our house has been on the market and I'm to type A to do anything like that) and she loves to climb up on our bar high chairs. Sigh. Prayers to her guardian angel to keep a close eye!
She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to have dance parties and has some serious moves. And she loves, loves, loves to read. Favorite books include any Peek-a-Boo book, Shiny Touchy Smelly Colors, Good Night Moon, My Big Book of Animals, and any other animal book for that matter.
She is the perfect combination of tomboy and girly girl. Loves to dig in the dirt and find bugs and wrestle with Daddy, but also loves to play with Mamas makeup, carry purses and talk on the phone.
Jewelry and shoes. Oh my. Just put her in a room of shoes and necklaces and I think she would be in Heaven for hours!! But much to our pleasure, her favorite dress up outfit is a science lab suit from Joshua's Mad Science camp this summer. She LOVES to wear it and will even insist on wearing it out (see Dr. Sadie below....I mean this totally beats a princess outfit, right? So cute!:) )
If she could pick one thing to do all day long it would be to swing on her swing outside. Regardless of weather conditions or how sleepy she is. Playing with or looking at puppies are a close second. Oh, yeah, and babies....
(Playing with Mama's shoes)
(She insists while shopping that she carries a bag)
(Sadie Cam!! Found this picture on my phone...guess she figured out how to work this function!)
If Sadie were stranded on a dessert island, she would take a baba (sippy cup) of milk. Actually this would be a close second to her BINKIE which we are trying to ween her off of and wow does she love that thing and manages to put up a fight with it!
She loves having her toe nails painted and they are the cutest piggies ever!
She will not eat fruit. But randomly we find little bites and teeth marks all over the apples and peppers in the fridge.
Her first word? TRUCK. Yep. Very disappointing. But funny! Followed shortly by Mama, ba (ball and bottle) and then Yaya (for Joshua) Her favorite word now?? Probably "MINE!" And she loves to shake her head no, especially when you pick an outfit she doesn't approve of! Ha!

Favorite Sadie Stories???
-When we pulled up to a shopping center that happens to house our favorite local bakery, Joshua and I heard the most excited, sweet voice shout, "Cookies!!" We got a laugh out of it and then I told her we were not there to get a cookie. Dead silence in the car followed by a squeal and "Cupcakes!!" . Yes, she has a sweet tooth!
- When Daddy was leaving for work one morning, Joshua and I shouted our byes and love yous. Sadie followed us with "Bye, bye, good girl!"
-At Chick-fil-a she loves to see the cows, but for whatever reason calls them puppies followed by a puppy whining sound. It drives her brother nuts, although we laugh, and I have an small feeling that she does it just to get his goat:).
-Big brother always washes his hands and sings the ABC's to make sure the soap is rubbed in enough. So guess who loves to wash her hands and sing her ABC's?? It doesn't really sound like the ABC's, but A for effort my dear! It's pretty cute:).
-And right now we are going through a MINE phase. Joshua never really used this word, but he was a first born. The other day while bathing them, she stole something he was playing with and shouted, "Mine, mine, mine, mine, mine, mine! SHARE!!" Think big brother and Mama almost died laughing. It was pretty ridiculous!
