Daddy's Hobby=Great Wolf Lodge for the Fam!

Daddy has only one hobby.  According to himself.  It is fantasy football.  And it's a big deal.  Months of prep goes into such a thing.  Months of planning, idea sharing, wheeling and dealing, and most importantly, trash talking.  As you may recall, he lost the first place title last year by a fraction of a point, and has a bit of vengeance this year!  The League, also knows as the KC Crime Family Crew, has evolved from a simple afternoon of beer drinking and fun to a little trip to their alma mater, to Vegas, and now to KC with a night out at the Embassy Suites on the Plaza with a party bus.  Wow.  The boys take this a bit seriously.

Well this year, they decided to include the families in on the action for a night, thank you very much!  And the Crime Family, took over Great Wolf Lodge out at the Legends.  Almost everyone was able to make it so that made a total of 8 crazy families out for a night of fun!  I didn't get a ton of pictures of the crew, mainly because it is near impossible to take pictures of children in such a large area when each carries their own agenda of what needs to be done, mine especially.  But it was SOOOO much fun!  If you have not been, it is worth a trip to KCK for a night of fun with your kiddos!  The pool is every kid's dream, an arcade, late night jammie dance party from 9-11 pm (yep, a late night) with a REAL DJ, story time, and so much more.

Sadie was pretty low key there, loved making calls on the hotel phone and dancing her little heart out.  Joshua was a complete dare devil and ventured out on all water slides that his little four year old body would allow, which was most.  And I can say they were legit!  When the guys went out for their boy fun on Saturday night, Aunt Linda joined that night and we are so happy she did!  Good times!
Dance Party!

Talking on the hotel phone was a favorite of both of the kids...it's the simple things

A late night pizza snack after swimming.  Seriously, they reminded me of college.  It was about 9 pm, we had just finished swimming and came back to the room to change into our jammies for the dance party.  They both hit up the left over, cold, pizza box without even asking.  Ha!  My little partiers:).
