Joshua continues to grow like a weed and crack us up with his words of wisdom. He is a talker. No doubt. And a story teller. Which I guess one could say he would make a heck of a good actor with his ability to tell a tale. Emergency stories, train stories, animal stories. We have to remind ourselves that he is just under four because he is crazy with his words. He even loves talking to himself too.
Some little gems of late:
-Dad, things just don't work out for me.
-(After arguing about why he needs to finish eating something) Mom, I can't tell you why I can't eat any more. I just know my body says to not eat any more. OKAY???
-Ah! I just missed that train! I'm so danged!
-(During a fit from his sister) Maybe she just has a cank or something. (HUH?)
-(After we had a Dean and DeLuca date cancelled, I apologized to Art that it didn't work out...and Joshua...) Dad, I just have to apologize for Dean and DeLuca.
-(While driving in the car)
J-I have to go see a bad guy that died.
Us- Ah, let's not talk about things like that. What makes you say that?
J- Well, I have to go see him. I have not seen him in a long time and I need to. His name is Bethleham Hockey. (All stated without skipping a beat)
HUHHHH????
One of the only days it has snowed this winter and we were so, so excited to go out and play.....
But, I soon got ditched for the neighborhood boys:(. STOP GROWING!! I'm your Mama and I want to play!! Yes, I am jealous.
So excited for his first Valentines
Passing out his goodies. And let me say that seeing the level of craziness with the kids, it took me back to my teaching days. And made me not miss it...ha! Don't get me wrong, I loved teaching, and look forward to doing it again some day, but I really didn't like teaching on holidays, field trips, and my birthday. Not because I had to work, but the kids are CRAZY!! Oh my goodness! Poor Mrs. Young! I sent some prayers your way:)!
