The Home Stretch

One month and counting until we no longer have any BABIES in our house. Sniff, sniff. Actually more is like WAAAA, but I won't go there. I am way behind on our postings so it is actually just a couple of days until the big day, but we will pretend like I have my act together and talk about this little 11 month old.:)

So, top 10 things, well, maybe 11 things, to know about Sadie right now:

1. She is WALKING!!! She looks like a drunk little sailor but so cute! I have to admit that it makes me sad though. We were so excited to have her walk and now that she does I miss her little crawl. It was so fast and cute! (Video to come soon of the big girl)
2. She waves hi to anyone that enters a room.
3. She loves to carry her purse (or Joshua's sports bag from Grandma Jane and Grandpa John) around and will even try to get it on her shoulder. LOVE!
4. She is still hooked on binkies.
5. She STILL does not sleep through the night 95% of the time. Sigh.....
6. She loves to dance and has some sweet moves!
7. Her favorite game is to either peek a boo or to pretend that it's "Night night time" (lays down) than wakes up "Good morning!!"
8. Her favorite toys are her toy phone (she loves to make calls from the BACK of her head), her baby doll or stuffed animals (loves to snuggle them), and anything that Joshua is playing with.
9. She is a MONKEY!!! Climbs on everything! We are afraid that she may be moving out of her crib much earlier than Joshua did!
10. Mama is her favorite word and only one that we know for certain that she says. Music to my ears although it is said mostly when she wants something or is upset:). We THINK she says Joshua though (Yaya) and Dada and Dog. But again, not certain.
11. She loves to do anything that she can pretend to be a big girl. She loves to pretend to put lotion on her hands. She brushes mamas hair and pretends to curl her eyelashes.

Took this one mid-January. It was supposed to be for her 9 month pictures! Haha! Day late and a dollar short, but cute!!

Woohoo for 11 month olds!!

This would have been a more appropriate 11 month picture since I am always a step behind her.

Her perch, the fireplace. She would live her if she could. She climbs on and off about 80 times a day and is so proud. We are struggling with her standing on it though. She is invincible.

Big brother is the coolest and still her BFF. This picture cracked me up. They weren't giving me much.

She's still a sucker for mac and cheese, see the evidence?
