Hope you all enjoyed ringing in the New Year! It's hard to believe that 2010 is already behind us. It was such a great year for us and we hope that it brought nothing but happiness for all of you too:). We continued our New Year's Eve tradition of hanging out with some of our favorite people, the Peters' family (Eric, Nealy, Emmitt, and Malloy)! We started this little thing last year that we take the kids to Fritz's Train Restaurant then head back to someone's house to just enjoy one another's company. Last year we had a slumber party, but Joshua had other plans this year and was not so cool staying in a new bed. Oh well! We sure had fun and loved being with such fabulous friends on the last day of the year!
Fast forward a few days and we had another round of the flu dash through our house. So much fun! Poor Joshua was so sick and of course it hit when Art decided to take a few days off of work to have some family fun. The last time he took a day off that was not trip related was after the Super Bowl in 2002! It was a blessing though to have another set of hands to help with the sicko. Fingers crossed it will be our last round until next year!
And the two toddler quotes of the week:
"It's freakin' out kind of cold!!" (Stated while walking into Costco last Sunday)
"I can't find where it isn't!" (Stated while trying to find his vacuum...And yes, an English lesson did follow;) )
