Big, Juicy Vans

Oh, Stratus! We never thought the day would come! Art never thought the day would come, but the Stratus has finally moved onto a new phase of its life. Trying to gear up for the fourth member of the family's arrival (don't tell Masey that she is not included in the count), we thought it was time to upgrade to a bigger car. Thankfully, we have Art's company car (yea, no car payment!!) and the Bullet (aka Saturn) is in the works of new ownership, but the poor Stratus was the first to get the boot. Art's heart was almost broken and he was able to enjoy one more good morning ride with his buddy. Yes, I know, he no longer drives a Dodge Stratus and his level of importance may suffer because of it, but he sure knows how to make a mini van look good!!

The new purchase! A 2008 Honda Odyssey. Although it was hard to let the Stratus go, Art was pretty pumped to have a van. It has quite a few wing-dings on it that would make any guy salivate for a family car. Me, I'm still adjusting a bit. I swore I would never be a minivan mom, but the time came when they make way too much sense so here we are. The boys out voted me (J was on Daddy's side sense that's what his cool buddies all have!) and logic lead the way:). For those that are Seinfeld fans, Art has Joshua calling it our "big, juicy van" which he is pretty proud of. It really is a great car and I know it is going to make life easier, so cheers to the new adventure!! We officially feel like parents now, and just a bit older!

You will love your big, juicy Honda! I love mine, and I am more than proud to drive it! Women with vans have kids, and I'm so glad I have mine! You will love not having to bend over to put kids in the car!!
