All the Leaves are Brown...

November? Can it really already be November? Christmas items are already up at Target. Holiday music is already on the radio. College football season is almost over. Joshua is a little adult and Baby Pink has only 15 weeks until his or her arrival....that is what it's Dad and Mom are planning at least!

Although the beginning of October was crazy, we did get to wrap up the month with some fall fun during the last weekend. It's been beautiful weather and have tried to soak up the sun as much as possible while the warm days remain. Joshua loved our trip to the pumpkin patch, mostly because they had some really fun slides there. He loved seeing the pumpkins get carved, but failed to want to help in fear of getting his little hands dirty. Not too much of a surprise if you have met our little Howard Hughes:)! We also ventured over to Paca and Grandma Clare's to jump in their leaves since we don't have too many big trees around here. I think he was in heaven playing and moving leaf piles around the yard with Paca! We also enjoyed some Iowa football at the OP with some of the Iowa crew....so fun to initiate the kids into this tradition!

Halloween was so much fun and it makes us so excited for the holidays to come now that he really understands what is going on. We've been fighting the sleeping battle still....which is a whole other story that will hopefully come to an end soon....we hope....we pray....but we couldn't be mad when he kept waking up on Saturday night asking if it was time to go trick or treating yet. Love the world through the eyes of two year old! The night of Halloween I think he enjoyed having all of the "guests" come over to our house for him to share his candy more than actually going trick or treating:). We were okay with that. And I know I am biased but I truly think the cutest police man in the world lives at our house!
