A Boo-tiful Fall

I feel like I always begin these posts by commenting on how long it has been since I last posted, but wow has it been a while, almost three months I think! Joshua is still all boy- loves to play outside and get dirty, likes to give a good tackle to those he trusts, his best friend is any dog that will pay him any attention, and laughs at bodily functions which his father encourages and his mother strongly frowns upon. He spends a bit of time each day in time out. He actually has started to put himself in time out. Guess we may be getting through to him...he knows right from wrong, but still chooses to make his poor choice regardless than punishes himself for it. It's quite humorous, unfortunately. We really have to focus on our parental role when he takes his seat on his new throne. He likes to list all of the words he knows as he sits there for his "one minute break" in his sweetest voice and the slightest smile. He always ends with the word broccoli or as he likes to refer to it as "gallum". Don't ask...we have no idea where he got it but is quite accurate with its usage:).
We celebrated Halloween with our annual "Monster Mash at the Milnes" party. Great costumes this year so thanks for participating friends! Sets the bar for next year;). Halloween night, Joshua was so happy to have so many people stop by to play! He would run to grab a toy to share with the friends at the door but would become very sad when they would not want to come in to play with him. Poor kid. He has a good heart. He eventually caught on to people reaching in to our treasure chest of treats and by the end of the night he was jockeying for his share of candy to add to his own stash. My how they learn!

Enjoy the pictures of our fall festivities!
