LIttle bit of this and a little bit of that...

Summer is in full swing at the Milnes' household! We enjoyed the zoo last weekend where Joshua was more interested in the swings, ducks, and pushing his own stroller than the REAL animals around him. Bummer. He did give us a few chuckles thanks to the meerkats and sea lions. We'll take it! We think he is an Iowa boy at heart because he loves to go to the farmstead to see the farm animals, but zoos, he can pass! On Sunday we joined Eric, Nealy and Emmitt Peters for a dip in their pool. Thanks to Emmitt, we feel Joshua was able to see that walking is so much more fun than crawling so he has picked up the pace on that .....Hoorah!!! The little man had his first dentist appointment on Tuesday, big day! He had a good report from the doc:). Also posted some videos of two of his new favorite things,chasing the ball in the living room and sitting on his "ning, ning", which means swing....anything that has a seat of some sort is a swing to him. Hey, we won't argue! Gotta love the good weather though! Hope you are enjoying this time a year as much as we are!
