As you can see, Joshua is growing up! Monthly pictures had to be moved off the couch because I could not keep him still long enough! By the last picture, he quickly moved onto more interesting things today such as helping empty the dishwasher! We can't believe we will have a one year old in just a month! It truly goes too fast!
Some of his favorite things currently are:
-Balls
-Balls
-Dogs (especially his partner in crime, Masey)
-Bath time
-Balloons
-Reading books (Peek-a-Boo books, Elmo's Pop-Up book, Tails, Goodnight Moon, and Jamberry are favs)
-Hots (Anything that glows...candles, fires in the fire place, lights...he tries to blow them out!
-Broccoli, avocados, beans, yogurt, strawberries....and anything that Daddy and Mommy might be munching on!
He does not care for:
-Getting his face washed or teeth brushed (see picture below as proof)

-Being strapped into things...grocery carts, high chairs, and car seats included
-The sound of vacuums (kind of funny- Masey hates them too. As I vacuum, the two of them hide, but eventually I will see their two little faces peeking around the corner at me together. I can just hear the conversations- "It's okay, Baby...You go first!" "No way! I'm not going in there, Masey! You go!" It gets me in stitches every time, even though I do feel awful about scaring them!)
Loving on Mommy- his signature pose with the tongue out a la Michael Jordan- His Father loves it!

We took pictures for his birthday cards...see the progression below;) Goes from Yea! To what's on my head? To get this thing off!

He can say the words mom (ma or mam), dad (da), dog (sounds like dag), bottle and ball (ba), egg (gah or ehg), and Jesus (je...he says hi to a picture of Him every morning in his room). He's a chatter box! His brain is growing but no walking still! He's very cautious!
Thought we could share some of his current skills in the videos below. He tried to cooperate for us! Enjoy friends!
