Happy Halloween!!

Two little kids sure were excited this year to celebrate a holiday!  We had the countdown going and I think that certain family members lost sleep the night before because they were so excited for the big day!  In the Milnes' house, we go with the philosophy of "Go big or go home" when it comes to celebrating a holiday and we sure did this Halloween!

Breakfast that morning was Jack O' Lantern and ghost pancakes!  Yummy!

Before Joshua went to bed, he carefully set his costume glasses by his bed so they would be ready in the am.  And the second he woke up, he popped them on!

Clark Kent (aka Superman) getting ready to debut his
looks at school.  Joshua picked his costume weeks before the big day and he was so, so excited!  I was so, so excited because it was original and easy to through together!  Early in the morning, I instructed him to "Wash your hands, buddy" to which he responded, "My name is not buddy.  It's Clark".  And it didn't end the rest of the day.  Love his imagination!

School Party!!  So handsome!

Wonder Woman decided to join the festivities.  Joshua also picked out her costume which turned out super cute too!  Love being able to make things at home!

Sadie can't wait to go to preschool!  So many cool new toys!  AND BABIES!!

Countdown to trick or treating!!

Daddy's home!!

Joshua was so excited to have trick or treaters that he insisted on setting up a table by the door.  When the first kids came, he handed out candy to each and then said, "Okay, you need to leave because more people are coming".  We will work on his hospitality skills soon!

Last holiday family pic in our house!  Daddy sporting his Superman gear and Mama decided to join the fun as Lois Lane.

It's time!!

When Sadie discovered this pumpkin wasn't real she laid down to get a better peak with Papa.  When he stood up, she went over and grabbed him and said, "Come on, come on!"

The night ended in a creepy way with this lovely trick or treater.  We saw him walking around in the neighborhood earlier in the night when it was light out.  Completely in character, not saying a word.  Joshua used his super powers from across the street to get him to leave and it worked:).  However, when he showed up at our door at about 8:30 pm by himself, I wish our light had been off!  Creepy!!

Happy Halloween!!
