SHOWTIME!!!

Wedding bells are ringing!  Our friends, Kimmy Avant and Sam Tan tied the knot  in Dallas May 13 in a beautiful ceremony.  And they were sweet enough to include Joshua, Sadie and cousin Hayden in the festivities as the official ring bearers and flower girl.

It was a whirl wind of a day.  The kids had to be at the church for pictures at 11 am.  Followed by the ceremony at 2 pm.  Followed by the reception.  And if you know kids, that's right during nap time.  But let me tell you, overall, they were rock stars!!  At the rehearsal, Sadie RAN down the aisle so we were not worried about her making it down.   We decided it would be best to have Art direct them from the back while I waited up front to encourage. When the moment came, Joshua brought the little boys down in a wagon since they were a bit reluctant during rehearsal to walk.  Mr. Milnes was all smiles and waves.  Seriously, this kid is ready to run for office.  He did stop dead in his tracks at my aisle and smile, but after some encouragement, he realized his job was not over.

Sadie, well, she made it the first ten aisles because Daddy kept pushing her a bit.  Think it threw her off with all of the people there.  I kept trying to get her attention with no luck.  Peek a boo.  Whisper shouting her name.  Showing her bottle.  A toy.  Nope.  THEN, I remembered the binkie.  One slight wave and she took off with a squeal! It was so cute!  Unfortunately, we realized the day was so busy we did not get any good pictures of her in her dress since we waited until the last second to put it on.   Also, I filmed as opposed to taking pictures when they came down the aisle and then after, well, it just slipped our mind.  And she missed the girls pictures since it was after the wedding and she was not in the spirit to take pictures.  Oh well.  That's Sadie!!

The groom's group had pictures before the wedding and Joshua helped to make things exciting.  At least the other ring bearer found it funny.
 

Sadie held off on her dress until the last second due to her ability to have explosive diapers.  A wise move!

Because the little guys were having trouble making it down the aisle, it was decided to hitch a ride in the wagon.  It turned out so cute!!
