The Big Day

FEBRUARY 19 arrived...a month ago, yes...but we made Baby Girl's b-day special:). I think so special that we are all trying to catch our breath still...haha. Party pics to follow soon:). Her ACTUAL birthday was pretty low key. Just us and some good only fashioned birthday fun. Since she has no idea that cake should be served, we decided to mix it up a bit and save some calories. She LOVES breakfast foods so it was breakfast for dinner. I first in our house and Joshua loved it!
Getting ready for birthday pancakes!
Yummy! Greek yogurt blueberry pancakes!! If you have never tried pancakes made with Greek yogurt, you need to try...pretty good!
Big brother going to town.
Normally I would not be as cool with this, but the b-day girl was not feeling the new egg casserole recipe so she settled for some nice birthday cheese...her FAVORITE food.
PRESENTS!! She LOVED opening her gifts!
AND so did, Joshua. It always amazes me the toys he will say he wants if she is playing with them. Oh sibling rivalry.
Putting baby Mary to bed with tissue paper blankets.
Her big toy was a princess riding toy. She loves it and I love that each of the kids have one now so the fights are a bit lighter.
Playing with the new bubble gun blower from Gymboree. If you have never experienced the Gymboree bubbles, oh my goodness you are missing out. These things are the best!
Oh, and the weather has been beautiful in KC. Guess a bit of humidity in the air cause guess who is getting some curls!? Our poor kids have no hope with Art and my curls!
