It all officially started when the little guy started refusing to eat his solids due to a nasty ear infection and cutting another tooth (yes, we have three now! Wow!). The doctor said that maybe it was a baby food thing on top of not feeling so hot so it was time to venture into the world of "more solid" solids. Off we went to our friendly, local grocers. We find this is the ideal thing because he can carefully sample prior to buying and we don't end up throwing food away because we have a picky eater. (Which, by the way, God is getting me back for all of my picky eating habits with this little guy. I'm so sorry I put you through this Mom and Dad!!!) We're slowly figuring it out though! Our latest adventures at Whole Foods included tofu (didn't go over so well) and Pumpkin Spice Soy Milk (yummmmy! Gobbled it up!). Hy-Vee introduced us to pineapple (it grew on him) and cantaloupe (more please!). And Yo-Baby Yogurt is now an every day favorite...Delicious and nutritious!

He's eating like a champ now and loves to share bites of anything with those that will take his sloppy seconds! Haha!

We were also lucky enough to hang out with Great Grandpa Gene and Great Grandma Claire this week. Joshua thinks Great G-pa Gene has some great dance floor moves (although Joshua would rather break dance) and Great G-ma Claire is a pretty gifted reading teacher. :) Little Mans showed her his FAVORITE book...by far....JAMBERRY. Mommy can recite it on demand if you want to hear it since we read it typically 10 times a day! We try other books, and infallibly Joshua searches for it. I try... Wish I knew what he was thinking.....
