Time to decorate the tree! Art was on the road so the kids and I had to make due. They lost interest VERY quickly this year so most of it was on me...yay! Joshua was a great helper and listened to directions. Sadie, as usual, had to put her own spin on things.
I had instructed the kids to not put ANY on until I had unpackaged them and had them ready to go. I like to be organized, although that may seem ridiculous with kids! Sadie was sitting behind me and excitedly announced that one had just HOPPED on the tree. Say what? Sure. She maintained that she was sitting there and saw it HOP on the tree. There indeed was one on the tree and was placed just as a three year old would place it:). Or I assume that if you hop on the tree it may end up in the position it did. This was quite the funny argument for a bit and she never admitted to doing it. We will be beefing up our honesty talks in our house:).
