We HAD planned a trip to St. Louis for New Year's with the kids. Unfortunately some things came up so we rolled with it and had even more fun than we may have had. out of town!
We started with an overnight STAY-cation at the Embassy Suites, as Joshua happily told EVERYONE in the hotel and anyone that he saw in the days following. A little pizza, a little pool, and a snuggle party with a movie. So fun!

For New Year's Eve, I went a little overboard. Joshua was SOOO excited at the idea of a New Year's Eve party that I had to indulge! Mom and Dad joined us in the countdown and it was honestly our favorite New Year's Eve yet....even thought the ball dropped at 9 pm....actually we YouTubed the ball dropping last year in NYC,connected it to the TV, and then we had a countdown on OUR terms- heehee....It was fab:).
We had a dance party. Complete with hats and a real disco ball!
Joshua decided all parties need a pinata. I know. Ridiculous, but hey, we are crazy. Anyone surprised??
A balloon drop at the end of the countdown!
