Another year has come and gone. I must say it has been one filled with a lot of highs and lows. It brought one of the best gifts of our lives, our sweet baby girl. Feeling like a complete family with four around. But it also brought some our roughest patches as a family, but I must say that we survived, and bring it on 2012! We welcome you with open arms!
One final look at Christmas lights...through the sunroof- the kids LOVED doing this. Shortly after this our car stalled and we had a preschooler meltdown and sleepy baby stranded in the cold for a bit. Yea!

Trip to Hallmark's Kaleidoscope at Crown Center. One of the MANY puzzles he made that day.
Waiting for an art project to go through the drying machine....love the little crowd of anxious waiters. They were so cute!
Taking flight at the Crown Center play land by the mayor's Christmas tree
As one can imagine, I had to literally DRAG him away from this little toy
New Year's Eve Party at the Graham and Katie's new place! So much fun! It felt like ages since we had seen so many of the KC Crew!!
(Emmitt, Sadie, and Bailey)
Pleading for ANOTHER cupcake
Emmitt and Malloy were so darn cute with Sadie. They loved on her the whole night!

But all good nights must have a bitter sweet moment. Art has been the commissioner of a Fantasy Football league for some time. This year, his team did pretty well. Well enough to make it to the "Superbowl". And there was a nice little pot at stake. A nice little pot of $800 for the winner so we both had a mild interest in his team:). It was one heck of a playoff game and in the last few seconds of the game, Tony Gonzales dropped a pass (further increasing my detest for the man), and could not pick it up after that. Art lost to his buddy Cory by LESS THAN A POINT. I seriously thought he was going to cry. As did I. On the bright side, one heck of a game! Here he hands the winning check over and offers a congratulatory handshake. Sucker.
