Ooops I Did It Again!

A month has slipped by again since I posted. Geez! It has been insane. Crazy! Since Labor Day the Milnes' clan has been going strong with fun activities as well as what seems like a variety of bugs that won't seem to leave the house. As a matter of fact, as I post, Miss Belle is upstairs sleeping after throwing up three times today. You would think we never sanitize around here! Wow.

So here is the top five list for the month of October fun to catch up....Since it is almost December! I'm going to post several more times over the next couple of days with some other fun!

1. Preschool Fun- Joshua continues to love school and has had so many fun events this Fall! We went to the pumpkin patch for his first field trip (no good pics) and celebrated lots of fun days!
Cowboy Day!!
One of the highlights of my day is seeing him run out the door after school to see Sadie and me:)
Ice Cream Social with Dad- Unfortunately Daddy was on the road, so Paca and Grandma Clare stepped in for some fun! Paca said there was only one other grandpa there, but no GREAT grandpas:)
Okay, so yes, this is Sadie, but all of my pictures for the Halloween Party turned out poorly, but this one, so yea Sadie making the Preschool section:)! Notice the missing sock....she always takes them off!
Crazy Hair Day! He picked out the style much to Daddy's disappointment (Ponytails are for girls!). Mrs. Young and I loved it though!
2. Playtime! We love to hang around the house and play! Currently, the kitchen and Lightning McQueen are the toys we fight over....

Hahaha....love their faces in this one....huh???
Yes, again, Sadie always has something in her mouth, a sock, kitchen toys, binkie, dog food was the fun one about a week ago...gag!!

Hitching a ride! This is one of my all time favorite pictures I think! Score!! They are both smiling in the same picture!!
3. Way down yonder in the pumpkin patch.....KSU played KU so the purple pride was in full effect

Mr. and Mrs. Farmer never looked so good
Shooting a gourd gun...and he scored!
Okay, why they didn't have on of these when I was a kid I would sure like to know...bounce pads....genius!!
Our little Wildcat pumpkin:)
Sadie typically is this amused when she sits in brother's lap
4. Carving Halloween pumpkins-

(Please note I allowed Joshua to pick our pumpkin designs this year. Should have known what a little boy would enjoy!)
Exhibit A: Pumpkin to the left of Joshua is scared of all of the little baby pumpkins...can't see it very well
Exhibit B: Pumpkins to the right of Joshua....KSU pumpkins....one is sick because he ate a Jayhawk...see the vomit and feathers....ah, little boys:)

5. Trick or Treat!!

Our sweet little kitten
Thomas the Train...note I fought him for about three months before Halloween on this one. It is against my beliefs to wear just a flap of cloth for a costume. Be creative!! Not to mention I have been dying to dress Joshua and Sadie up as something together. Selfish yes. I gave into it though (especially when I found Thomas at a consignment sale for $5 and Sadie's costume was borrowed) and know one day I will smile thinking about our little battle over his love of Thomas.
Okay, so this should be a post all on it's own, but my parents, Paca, Clare, and Aunt Anne came over for dinner Halloween night and to do a little trick-or-treating. We took the kids upstairs to put on costumes and guess, they were busy downstairs putting on theirs. When we came down, we heard barking in the backyard and food this wild pack outside. I don't know who was more confused at the sight, Joshua or Sadie! It was pretty funny!
