Mayhem at the Milnes': Cousins!!

Joshua and Sadie FINALLY got to meet their first cousin this last weekend! Yea! We headed up through Iowa to get to Minneapolis to see Uncle Mike and Aunt Krista. On the way, we stopped for lunch in Sumner to visit Grandma Jane and were excited to see Aunt Barb there too. The kids loved getting a little car break, and a little love, from some friends we don't get to see often:). Joshua loved that we were able to get their in time to hear the Sumner lunch whistle blow. It sounded like a tornado alarm which he loved. Grandma Jane treated Sadie to a little lap nap, which for those that know Sadie, does not happen! How special that she got to take a nap with her Great Grandma!

On to Minneapolis!! We stayed right next to Mall of America with Mike, Krista, and Hayden. It was so fun to have them just next door to us! Not to mention wonderful to finally see the cousins interacting with each other. Hayden, the other new Milnes' team member, is just about as cute as they come! So sweet and happy, but can also be so serious as he sizes people up (see the picture below). We left saying how much we hate being away from these three friends!! We enjoyed some chats, meals out, shopping, trip on the rapid transit system, and playing at the amusement park. Another bonus was our hotel was right under the landing path for planes at the airport. None of us have ever been so close to a plane in flight! If it was cool to an adult, imagine how cool it was to a three year old! Even Sadie kept her eyes locked on them! It always goes to fast when we hang out!
