It's the Holiday Season!

Anyone who has ever been exposed to a toddler knows how magical the holiday season is! Joshua is on cloud nine with all of the decorations, talk of celebrating baby Jesus' birthday and a visit from St. Nick. I think he will barely be able to sleep on Christmas! He is so obsessed that his current imaginary side kicks are Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus himself. It's quite cute, not to mention that we are happy to hear him playing with some new friends:). He has been telling us that Baby Jesus is potty training when he goes to use the restroom and that Baby Jesus also needs a candy reward for going. Creative imagination. OR should I say creative use of working the system since I have caught him eating Baby Jesus' reward a couple of times, to which he tells me he already shared his portion with Jesus so they both have had their fill. Hmmmmm. Not sure when to start discussing telling the truth a bit more. I've also tried to explain that Jesus, Mary and Joseph live in Heaven, but he argues that they live in our living room. Guess "wherever two or more are gathered in my name" applies here??

Christmas tree decorating. You can see the little section he proudly decorated.

Westside Family Church's "A Very Merry Morning"- stations were set up around the Church for the kids to learn more about the true meaning of Christmas. I go to MOPS at Westside and have fallen in love with this group of amazing women!

Walking the road to Bethlehem
This idea, I don't know if words can describe it. Joshua loved dressing up as Nativity characters.
Making tree decorations in the Ornament Factory
Trying out what the manger may have felt like
Mailing the "Good News" to friends

The traditional Christmas trip to Crown Center to see Santa- with trains, waterfalls, Christmas lights, and of course the Westin elevator rides:)

Look how handsome my favorite boys are?!
Joshua, Mommy, and Baby Pink:)

Celebrating Mommy's 31st birthday at Papa and Mimi's. He loved the trick candles and of course was quite the helper opening gifts:).
Joshua's First Limo Ride- We got a GREAT Groupon (Love them!) to take a holiday tour of the KC Christmas lights. Think it will be a tradition from now on!
