Happy Birthday to Me! By Joshua (aka- the longest post ever)

Hi Friends! So many of you know I FINALLY turned one Tuesday, March 31, and I have so much to share! I had so much fun celebrating...so much fun in fact that Dad and Mom let me celebrate for four whole days! Hope it's that good next year! Dada says he is so proud of me, his little buddy, and thinks my smile and laugh are the greatest thing the world. I hear him tell people, "He is such a funny guy!" and that makes me feel good cause I love to make Dada laugh. Mama has cried numerous times the last few days and just keep saying how big her baby is getting and she wants me to slow down cause our ride together is going too fast. She needs to stop giving me so many kisses cause since I am one now, that's not cool with my friends;). One of my favorite things to do is tackle her...she's an easy target! The doctor says 22lbs (50th percentile) and 32 in. (95th percentile). I'm going to be so tall!
My birthday "week" started out with taking my one year pictures. I was able to take some of them with real baby lambs! I had never seen one before but it reminded me of Masey, hence why I kept getting in trouble for hitting it on the back. The shoot was called, "Then the lion will lay down with the lamb and a little child will lead them." Thought that had a nice ring to it, but Mom said I was not showing very good child-like leadership by wrestling the lamb. I can only be so good though! Mom will put pictures up later.
Dad and Mom took me to the T-Rex restaurant during a snow storm Saturday. I thought it was so funny that the silly waiters and waitresses came to sing to me...they even clapped! And I got some ice cream! The dinosaurs were cool, but I loved watching the fish and "hot". I couldn't even take a good pictures cause I kept turning to see it. I also had a lot of fun sticking Cheerios to Mom's arm. That was the funniest!
On Sunday, my friends and I went to Gymboree. I am very blessed to have so many good friends! I loved seeing Miss Cheryl again since I'm in the Level 3's now. I really didn't feel like eating my cake there- too much to do! Dad and Mom said they were happy I did not like sugar but I proved them wrong with that on Tuesday!
Monday I went to Red Robin and they seranaded me again! They tied balloons around my ears... and I felt really silly, but still had fun.
Then on Tuesday, Mom's family came over to celebrate. I could not decide between lasagna, chicken casserole, quesadillas, or pizza cause I like them all so much so Mom picked pizza. Yummy! We had ice cream cake and I loved it! Dad kept saying I looked like William Wallace as I ate...I don't know if that's good or bad cause my parents say I'm not old enough to see Brave Heart. It sure sounded funny though! What a great week!
